Newsletter consent

By ticking the consent box and confirming my address, I consent to Alexander Dzyza processing my personal data as follows. Contact: mail@dzyza.com.

Data: my email address, the update categories I choose, the dates of my request and confirmation, a record of this consent, private links to manage or cancel the subscription, and records of emails sent to me.

Purposes: confirming my subscription, sending the updates I choose (new essays, new posts, other site updates) and handling my requests about the subscription.

Actions: collection, recording, storage, use, transfer to the hosting company described below, and erasure, partly automated (sending email, and recognizing my requests sent by email).

Storage and recipients: the site's records, its emails and the mailbox mail@dzyza.com are kept by a hosting company on servers in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. If I live outside the Netherlands, I agree that my data is transferred there for these purposes. My address is not sold, published or used for advertising.

Duration and withdrawal: consent is optional, applies only to this subscription and lasts until I withdraw it. Updates start after I confirm my address by email. I can change categories or withdraw consent at any time using the links in an email, the Unsubscribe button of my mail program, or by writing to mail@dzyza.com. A clear request from my address is carried out automatically and confirmed by one last email. Withdrawal stops future updates and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Retention: unconfirmed requests are erased within seven days. Active subscriptions remain until withdrawal or a deletion request. After withdrawal, inactive subscription data is erased within 30 days, including the site’s subscriber backups and related queued messages.
